Interested in local history? Come along to the Men’s Shed on Wednesday, November 18th to learn all you need to know about the Battle of Harlaw. Sometimes referred to as “Red Harlaw” because of the tragic amount of blood spilled on the 24th of July, 1411, the battle is marked by the Harlaw Monument just to the north of Inverurie, erected in 1911 to commemorate the 5ooth anniversary and honour the fallen.
